We are delighted to share the authentic voices of the artists who walked the red carpet.
These are the words that shone brightly at Art Runway Otsu in May 2025.
And perhaps—next time, it will be your turn.

“This is incredible! It’s exactly what we’ve been looking for—an event where the very act of showcasing art becomes art itself.
And the fact that it’s so entertaining, allowing both artists and audiences to enjoy it together—just amazing!”I felt it instantly and signed up without hesitation.

I used to unconsciously believe that “art” was something that quietly stayed still, displayed inside museums or galleries.
But the moment I walked through the streets holding my own artwork, that fixed idea shattered—in the best possible way.
I felt an incredible sense of liberation. ✨✨✨I realized, “Art can be so much more free!”
I felt the boundless possibilities of what art can be. ✨🖼✨There was a powerful energy—a heat, a passion—where the artworks, the artists, the MC, and the audience all became one.
It made me truly realize: displaying art doesn’t have to mean just hanging it on a wall and waiting quietly for someone to come see it.
There are so many more ways to let art live and breathe. ✨✨✨

I was so grateful to spend such a joyful time with the most wonderful people,
who saw my kimono dress and mizuhiki ribbon hairpiece as true ART. 💛

“Art isn’t just something to hang on a wall—it should be expressed freely, in any way you like.”
Living in society, we often find ourselves thinking:
“Maybe I shouldn’t do that…” or “People might judge me if I do this…”
Without even realizing it, we become trapped by assumptions and invisible rules.
In the midst of those days, I sometimes wonder—
what is it that we truly need to hold onto?
Even simple, pure things can become blurred and hard to see.

What I hoped to share with my children through this experience:
- That creating art is just the beginning—it’s also about sharing it with others.
- That working together as siblings can be powerful and fun.
- That understanding what their mom does for work is important.
- And above all, that art is meant to be free.
After it was all over, their eyes sparkled as they said,
“That was so much fun!”

The other artists’ works—and their personalities—were all so beautiful.
There’s something truly special about that moment when everyone’s energy comes together to create a shared space.

With my art, I will bring happiness to so many people. 🌈✈️🌏✨
This is a promise I made to myself—on Awaji Island. ✨✨✨
Now it’s time for a runway filled with the passion of grown-ups. 🌈✨✨✨
I hope you’ll witness it and let it burn into your memory. 😍

Artists usually showcase their work through solo exhibitions or galleries,
but I was deeply moved by this new form of artist support—
a space where we can walk with our own artwork and truly express ourselves.

I truly believe that from now on, the charm of Japanese artists will shine across the world—on the runway.Thank you for such a dream-like day. ✨It’s a memory I will treasure for a lifetime. 🥰

I’m so happy to have met you all. ✨

We walk the runway carrying our artwork. 🎨✨✨
Because each piece we carry is “THE ONE”—the embodiment of our soul.
